Ingredients: Organic coriander, cumin, ajwain, black salt, amchur, asafoetida, garam masala, ginger, black peppercorns, mint, cinnamon, citric acid, cardamom, paprika, kashmiri chilis, fennel. 1 OZ.
Zingy, tangy - this is the perfect seasoning for almost anything! Though often used as a spice in cooking, chaat masala is mostly used as a garnish on salads, chaats (a generic name for savory Indian snacks), drinks like Indian lemonade, meals like curries, dals, dry mixes, fried food, deviled eggs, popcorn... any kind of snack or dish you want salt added to - without the overbearing amount of salt - just flavor and nutrients. The Persians - the Mughals - had a slight inclination to the sweet & sour world and brought this spice to India. Chaaat Masala is one of our most popular spice mixes. There's no way to describe it - try it - it's a whole new spice flavor you already wish you had. We warn you: It's VERY addictive!
