If you’re anything like us these days, you’re watching what’s unfolding in our city, nation, and world, and asking yourself — What can I do? How can we keep our neighbors, families, and communities safe? And, if you’re anything like us — that answer might have something to do with feeding your neighbors.
Growing Lots Urban Farm, located in one of the hardest hit Minneapolis neighborhoods, a long-time grower with the Linden Hills Farmers' Market is farming in the midst of crisis — geographically and emotionally. Taya and Seamus are banding together with other local growers, turning their farm into a food distribution site this summer for families affected by the destruction across our city. This remarkable young couple is giving everything they can, donating their own food, soil and labor, and in solidarity with helping to heal their Minneapolis community.
We are asking our marketplace friends, family and neighbors to support Growing Lots in their harvest to aid community healing by donating your dollars. The Linden Hills Farmers’ Market is a 501 C3 charitable organization, and 100% of donations will go directly to their efforts in feeding their hard hit community. Your donation is 100% tax deductible.
