This fall, Twin Cities Chef Scott Pampuch and Lynne Rossetto Kasper of the Splendid Table fame are joining efforts and opening a cooking school, a virtual one direct from their own kitchens, just for us!

Rossetto Kasper and Pampuch are longtime Linden Hills Farmers' Market friends, and on behalf of our growers and makers, they've created original recipes, and entertaining videos designed to showcase peak-season ingredients. Weekly, videos and recipes will be released on the F&E Market site. 

This week, Lynne Rossetto Kasper will show you, from her own kitchen, how to make a seasonal soup where lush heirloom tomatoes shine. First easy soups and salads are on the menu, with mains, sides and dessert recipes to follow; perfect for cooks of all abilities. Plus, the same fresh ingredients, Lynne and Scott used to create the recipes - are online for pre-sale thru Thursday for Sunday pick up and drive thru. 

It's back to school season! No milk break here; instead with a glass of wine in hand, cuddle up with your laptop and meal plan with Lynne and Scott. Better than any home room, we think!

About Lynne Rossetto Kasper: A former radio journalist and host of the American Public Media program “The Splendid Table,” Rossetto Kasper featured programming for “people who love to eat.” The show was a James Beard Award winner in 1998 and 2008. Her book “The Splendid Table: Recipes from Emilia-Romagna, The Heartland of Northern Italian Food” won the James Beard Cookbook of the Year Award in 1993. Her love of tomatoes is legendary. A hybrid of Black Krim and Matt's Wild Cherry tomato is named "Lynne Rossetto Kasper." She is longtime fan of the Linden Hills Farmers' Market in Minneapolis, and is now buying online with Frank & Ernest Market's Virtual Farmers Market.

About Scott Pampuch: As a Midwestern executive chef, Scott Pampuch believes in preparing and advocating for food he not only loves to eat but also reflects local, seasonal agriculture as closely as possible. During his esteemed career, he’s shared his passion for delicious food, sustainability and responsibility toward the land to audiences throughout the nation. He’s contributed his culinary talents to 4 Bells, McKinney Roe, Fulton Brewing, Iron Horse Hotel, Corner Table and other famed establishments. Pampuch’s farm-to-table dishes have won awards, and he holds Pro Chef II Certification from The Culinary Institute of America.
