Order your half or whole lamb to fill your freezer all winter long!
Due to current Covid issues with butchers we are unable to secure processing in our USDA butcher. This means we will be unable to offer our customers individual cuts of meat. We will only be taking deposits for whole and half lambs which will be butchered in the fall to winter.
Our lambs are typically 35-45lbs hanging, processing is typically around $100. We are using Dennison Meats in Dennison MN to process the lambs who we have a long standing relationship with to butcher the animals. We will work closely with you, the customer, to discuss cuts and dates. You will pick up directly from the butcher and pay the final fee at the butcher.
The cost to the customer is $8lb hanging weight plus processing fee. To secure your lamb please pay the $50 deposit which will be deducted from your total amount at butchering. You will be given dates throughout the fall, and can select the best processing date that works for your family. You will also have the opportunity to purchase the hide after it is tanned.
If you order a lamb be sure to ask for some of it to be made into wild rice brats, they are pretty amazing!
